I've been cooking and baking since high school. I still remember carrying my first coconut cake to school - no one believed I'd made it! My love for food began with my grandmother, whose house always smelled like fresh purple hull peas, tomato soup, and cornbread.
Today, I keep that tradition alive, canning vegetables from the garden and making wholesome, old-school recipes that can't be beat.
I try to live my life pleasing to my Lord and Savior - I wouldn't be where I am today without Him. I live by the golden rule and my favorite verse:
"Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God, for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." - Ephesians 4:32
And as I always say, "In a world where you can be anything, BE KIND." 🐝



My love for the Lord and my family is at the center of everything I do. I'm married to my wonderful husband, Bryan. I'm blessed with two smart & beautiful daughters and two handsome & kind bonus sons, and one extra special granddaughter. Her name is Ava Kate & she will be turning 4 in January. She brings so much joy to our lives than I ever thought possible, and I'm trying to teach her to love the kitchen as much as I do. My husband and I share our dream spot tucked away in the woods. It's so peaceful & quiet.
